THE BEST FIVE NECESSARY FRESHMAN PHYSICS BOOKS

I’m writing down my list suggesting a few books of physics which are excellent and fun. Moreover these books are very useful to the students who are pursuing undergraduation coarse. To their study or reference these books bring the correct prospective of the subject.
Here we go,

1. UNIVERSITY PHYSICS BY HUGH D YOUNG AND ROGER FREEDMAN

University Physics is the physics textbook written by Hugh Young and Roger Freedman. The first edition of University Physics

was published in 1949. University Physics is among the most widely used introductory textbooks in the world. Its a proven error free book. In this book the analysis of different concepts is good . Questions have also been provided at the end of every section, to test your understanding,a book that aims to explain physics in an effective and easily comprehensible way.

2.FUNDAMENTALS OF HALLIDAY RESNICK WALKER

Fundamentals of Physics is a calculus-based physics textbook by David Halliday, Robert Resnick, and Jearl Walker. In this textbook there consists great examples which are tested and moreover practical examples. The walker (author)has included “checkpoint” questions. These are conceptual ranking-task questions that help the student before moving on to numerical calculations. Surprisingly every chapter start with a question. The questions belonging to that particular chapter.

3.LECTURES ON PHYSICS BY FEYNMAN

The Feynman Lectures on Physics is a physics textbook based on some lectures by Richard P. Feynman, who has sometimes been called “The Great Explainer”.
The Feynman Lectures on Physics is perhaps the most popular physics book ever written. More than 1.5 million English-language copies have been sold. This book is been put into number three and it not as flexibe to understand as the above mentioned books but still its good reference as it has simplicity,beauty and unity.

4.PHYSICS BY EXAMPLE 200PROBLEMS AND SOLUTION BY W.G REES

Physics by Example contains two hundred problems from a wide range of key topics, along with detailed, step-by-step solutions. By guiding the reader through carefully chosen examples, this book will help to develop skill in manipulating physical concepts.

5. An introduction to mechanics by Kleppner

A book which gives deep insight of classical mechanics. The book retains all the features of the first edition, including numerous worked examples, challenging problems and extensive illustrations, and has been reformed to improve the flow of ideas.
