The Makers of Today’s World of Social Media

This era can be referred as the era of technology and science.
And the makers of this world are being referred to as the angels of God. As God made this world we live and these angels made the virtual world.
Well to name the angels it would take few days to complete the list.
So we thought we will name a few who contributed the most to this world.

When we talk about social media the first which will grab our attention is Facebook.Mark Zuckerberg is one of the co-founder of Facebook. Initially Facebook was only available to a university but when it was introduced to the general public it became the most popular social media which grabs the first place even today.

Every morning when we catch hold of our mobile phone many will open Facebook or Instagram. Kevin Systrom co-founded Instagram with with Mike Krieger in 2010. Instagram quickly became the most popular mobile photo sharing app and was eventually purchased by Facebook for $1 billion in 2012. In just two year Instagram has grabed 1 billion dollors which is not easy but they did it.

Then comes the microblogging site Twitter.Jack Dorsey is the co-creator and co-founder of Twitter. Twitter was one of the first “microblogging” services, and it taught the world to think in 140 characters or less. Made every rusted brain to work to reduce there thoughts.

Our Virtual friend Tom Anderson. In 2003 Tom co-founded Myspace with Chris DeWolfe. Anderson was largely known as the face of Myspace, because once you created an account he automatically became your first friend on the social network.


is the founder and CEO of the social blogging site Tumblr. Karp founded the site in 2007. In 2013, Tumblr was purchased by Yahoo for more than $1 billion.

When bored or wanna watch a video of our celebrities or review a product This one comes to your rescue.In early 2005, Chad Hurley helped launch YouTube alongside Steve Chen and Jawed Karim. YouTube is, perhaps, the best-known social video sharing site and was purchased by Google in 2006 for $1.65 billion. Worth 1.65 billion in just one year by beating Instagram.
